One of Southern Maine’s nicest lakes, Lake Arrowhead is known for its world class bass fishing. The Department of Fisheries and Wildlife has recently named Lake Arrowhead as the only Trophy Base Lake in Maine and it regularly plays host to some of the areas biggest bass fishing championships. In fact, nesn and espn’s emmy award winning Charlie Moore, aka, ‘The Mad Fisherman’, can often be seen filming his show on our waters. Watch for his bright orange boats! It is an 1100 acre lake, ideally located between Portland, Maine and North Conway, New Hampshire. It is known for its crystal-clear water, perfect for swimming and boating. It is full of coves, islands and inlets which make for some nice exploring with the canoe,or kayaks provided with your rental.
